A Day of Dragon Boat Racing!

The Builders Merchants Federation - BMF have continued to raise money for TEFT/Kisima at a variety of events, such as a Golf Day in Staffordshire and a conference in Barcelona.

Back in June they were joined by TEFT's outgoing chairman, Richard Walton, and colleagues from First Event and other partner companies for a day of Dragon Boat Racing!

In teams of eleven (ten rowers and a drummer) and dressed in fancy dress, they competed against each other in a series of timed qualifying races, culminating in a Grand Final race. No rowing experience was needed, but enthusiasm and team work were essential!

With lovely weather and everyone really getting into the spirit of things, the day was a great success and a fantastic sum was raised - many thanks to all those who took part or gave their support.
