Giving Back to the Community

8th June 2026

Kisima students are truly grateful for the support given to them, and are ready to also help others in whatever way they can.

Members of the Christian Union spent one Saturday visiting Kwanjora Special School, a boarding school that caters for children and young people with cerebral palsy. After an informative talk from one of the teachers, the Kisima students got to work with tasks such as washing blankets and clothes, slashing grass, cleaning and helping with cooking.

There was time to interact with the pupils and to donate some items such as rice, beans, cabbages, clothes, detergent and soap. Our thanks go to the staff members who contributed and even the students who spared something from the little they had.

A short time of song and prayer together brought this eye-opening and heart-warming visit to a close.
