Students Shine at Inter-School Maths Challenge

A bus-load of students attended an inter-school Maths contest at Moi High School Kabarak and came back with four trophies! The questions were challenging but they nevertheless managed to take third place in each year group (Grade 10, Form 3 and Form 4) and second overall in the mixed schools category.

As well as the written paper, there were oral questions, a speed test, speeches from school and university representatives, a chance to explore the school and time to interact with other students.

Everyone enjoyed the day and some important lessons were learnt, such as:

- You have to try in order to succeed.
- Put your best foot forward in whatever you do.
- Be confident and ready to try again.
- Practice makes perfect.
